Daniel Craig's back for his fourth turn as 007, and this time he's got Christoph Waltz and Dave Bautista (Guardians Of The Galaxy) as baddies and Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux as Bond Girls. Looking forward to this, especially with the decades-old SPECTRE legal shit finally cleared up.

I have seen that scene multiple times (good lord). I might get around to actually watching the whole movie one of these days.

That's David Bautista -- who did a fantastic job as Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy. Dude has actual talent.

Are you high?

Christoph Waltz is fascinating. If Waltz were doing donkey stage porn performances in Tijuana, Mexico, it would be fascinating.

If Waltz were growing flowers in his backyard, it would be fascinating.

Waltz is amazingly fascinating.

Right, so for the entire movie, you will see Waltz, not Blofeld (which I assume is his character). Ried is right, this looks no different than the last one, and the locations are Moonraker-level boring. I'm also confused with the introduction of Spectre, when I thought Quantum was pretty much the same thing - and there was no mention of that in the last (useless) Bond entry.

At least he's got some real toys this time...

Will it have Nargis Fakhri in it, because she needs to be in everything now.
Spoiler: show

Besides that, I agree with both Pender, and Ried/Chris here. The last couple have been boring, but Christoph Waltz should be a level in intensity and interest to it. The reins do need to be handed over to someone that gets what 007 is about, Tarantino would direct the shit out of a Bond film, bringing a level of cool badassedry back to the role.

Waltz should have insisted on a Tarantino direct here.

Alas, boring or not, I am seeing it.

And if Nargis Fakhri's boobs are in it, I will be seeing the SHIT out of it.

Does anyone really want to see Tarantino direct a PG-13 franchise movie where the micro-managing producers will be standing on his neck throughout the whole production telling him what he can and can't do? I'd rather see him write his own retro-60's spy/espionage flick. Considering that he claims he'll only be making a handful of films before he retires, I'd rather they all be undiluted Tarantino.

I actually think Tarantino would be perfect for a Our Man Flint reboot and reimagining.

I thought Kingsmen was a pretty decent Bond movie...in fact, Matthew Vaughn's Layer Cake was a better Bond film than Poofall. MGM should have been throwing money at that director.

Tarantino wouldn't take the job if it was in name only, and would insist on creative control, so, yes, I would like to see him get the job.

Yeah, I don't think QT would ever do anything now without having creative control.

Fuck Mendes and fuck Barbara Broccoli. I'll only watch this to see what's up with Waltz's Dr. No-esque jacket, how Bellucci is milfing out and because it's fucking Bond.

Hey, so I finally watched this...and I liked it. Loved the cinematography, and the editor deserves an oscar - beautifully cut together. Bond actually did some spying, and it's a PERFECT sequel to QoS, which makes Skyfall even worse than the piece of shit it is.

While I'm not negative towards Skyfall at all, I'm glad to hear that it's a good sequel to Quantum of Solace, because I've been wanting that.
