The pilot episode was horrible. Boring. Blah. Horrible.

The second episode was okay, maybe :hole1: :half: - but still nothing great.

Never really watched any of the new movies.

Maybe I am just over the whole muppet thing?

8-)

That pilot was so fundamentally wrong for The Muppets that I seriously finished it and had absolutely no goddamn idea how to react. WHY DO THE MUPPETS NEED ANGST? WHY WAS THE PILOT LIKE A LOW-RENT EPISODE OF BOJACK HORSEMAN?

P.S.: WATCH BOJACK HORSEMAN.

I watched 2 episodes, and laughed twice. Both times it was because one of the Muppets finally did something Muppety. The show is awful. Not because it's a Larry Sanders/Office ripoff, or the characters are being too adult, or because all the characters are now self-aware, but because it's just not insane enough.

The original Muppet Show worked because it was batshit crazy. This is like Muppet Babies, minus the Star Wars cutscenes.
