Felix, there is a free app for Vita called "Crackle."

And you should avoid it at all costs. My god, what a piece of shit.

Navigates super fast, better than Netflix, the streaming is great, but it's fucked up by such a huge design oversight that I hope the entire team gets fired.

Your Vita doesn't realize Crackle is playing you a movie and will go to sleep as if the system is not in use, smack in the middle of a movie. Tried to watch Run Lola Run last night and a minute or so in the backlight fades a bit. Okay, whatever. Then a few minutes later the system went into sleep mode. This happened two more times before I gave up a mere 15 minutes into the movie.

What the hell kind of stupid fucking screw up is THAT?

I could deal with the commercials that interrupt the movie. I'm getting these flicks for free, after all. But what a FUCK UP to have the system turn off mid-viewing on you.

Shoe: Persona 4: Golden is on sale starting tomorrow for under $15. This game is totally not optional. Do it. Even with a backlog a mile wide, this is the one to get.

(Unless your tolerance for Anime bullshit is non-existent. Though tons of non-anime fans swear by it, too)

Maybe.

But keep in mind that the only anime bullshit I've ever enjoyed was Akira and Record of Lodoss War, and admittedly, Record of Lodoss War was pretty bad, I just liked it because it was essentially some guy's D&D campaign on screen. I pretty much hate anything that even smells a little bit like anime.

The Wiki entry on the game sounds interesting, though.

I can't stand the stuff as an adult, Persona 4 only had one moment where I felt super embarrassed to play it, and for something that close to anime, that's the highest of compliments.

It's definitely my favorite game on the Vita and one of my favorite gaming experiences in general, the only thing I think deters one from playing it is the slow as fuck three-hour intro before you get complete control of the game. It does however feature the one thing every 80-hour JRPG should implement: a fast-forward button.

It's also the cheeriest, happiest, most candy-colored video game about hunting a serial killer I've ever played.

Dangan Ronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is on sale on the PSN for $20.

Again: if your tolerance for anime bullshit it low, you might want to skip, but there's so much genuine insanity packed into an insane format (Part visual novel, part point and click adventure game, part trial simulation where you literally shoot truth bullets at incorrect statements, part rhythm game) I totally say buy that shit.

I hope you don't mean Conception II because that game makes me feel weird. There's also that new vita game where you strip vampires naked during battle to win.

Note: I would buy both of these games if they were on a PSN sale for $20 a pop.

Get ready to make some fucking babies.

I do want to play it because the premise is so fucking bugfuck crazy, though.

Does Sony still support the Vita, I heard somewhere they quit making games for it?

They don't really really do AAA games anymore, but the indie scene continues to support the system. It's more or less marketed specifically as a remote PS4 system at this point.

To be fair, being able to play Persona 5 at work during off hours is fuckin' dope.
