I'm guessing it is not Pleasantville...
Probably not Schindler's List...
Battle Royale wasn't strictly black white and red, but washed out...
It could be Rockula though in color has plenty of Black and White costumes...

I'll go with Rockula (1990), final answer.

Absolutely, but we showed Zebraman a few years back.

Wait a second, it can't be Killer Klowns from Outer Space, right?

So it's probably...

I wish it was Killer Klowns! And would I give you a hint with part of the title in the film in it? I don't think so.

No. I do love that image, though.

I was hoping it was double secret misdirection, like Tigerpal did with Sexykiller: Moriras por Ella.

You should put Ice Cream Man (1995) on the short list, it would be an epic fest film.

And you see how well that worked out for her!

I will look into it, what's not to love, Clint Howard as an Ice Cream killer? I'm fucking in!

Well the long term forecast is for warmth up until the middle of next week, then mid 20's during the night and mid 40's during the day of actual Fest. Since we've had so much warm weather (and will continue to- it's 60+ here today), I'm hoping all the remaining snow to melt, so we can open up all the parking spaces. Looking forward to seeing everyone in just 8 short days!

It's movie announcement day! This fun little film was suggested to me by Chris Knight. It's called....
Deathgasm
Here's the trailer.

And the cover art.

That's been in my Netflix queue for about three months. Glad I didn't get to it yet!

You know my favorite part about the reveals on this thread is finding out when they're being shown. For those who have never attended or have only attended part of this, Tigerpal and Kimfair do an EXCELLENT job at pacing the 24 hours of movies. They're not going to stick a Korean drama in the 3:00 a.m. slot. Conversely, they know their peak attendance is going to be for movies 2 and 3 and the last film of Fest is always a really fun one (almost like a reward for everyone whose made it that far).

So seeing Deathgasm in the last slot made me really excited about it. Of the Fests I've been to, I now own almost every one of the films shown in the final slot. The exception being Cockneys vs. Zombies and that's only because it was on Netflix for long enough that I watched a few times before it left.

Thanks for the kind words, Cary. We really do spend a decent amount of time sequencing, and it's super important to have a high energy/fun film at the end. You'll also notice that the last 2 unannounced films are films #2 and 3!

I still think my favorite "final film" was from the very first Fest I attended. Detroit Metal City is just fucking hilarious!

And my favorite "Prime Time" experience was definitely Poultrygeist. Really looking forward to seeing that again.

I think any Hobbit movie would run longer than the entirety of Fest...

I'm highly attuned to Fest sensibilities.

Well the snow is nearly completely gone, and there's none in the forecast before Fest #25 arrives. For those who are driving, I live in an area of the city, where you don't need resident parking. The address is 92 Murdock St #2 Brighton, MA. There is a grid of streets, bordered by Dustin St (east of Murdock),and Market st to the west (which includes Etna, and Glencoe sts), and North/south, North Beacon st to Elmira st. Anywhere in this grid is non-resident parking.

So we are just under 4 days and 6 hours until Fest #25 commences! The streets are clear of all snow and there is none in the forecast. The forecast for Friday and Saturday now is clear with highs in the mid-30's and lows in the mid-20's. Since everything looks dry, folks can keep their shoes on, unless you wish to take them off.
If you ordered a t-shirt, do not grab a program from the pile when you get here. There will be a custom Fest #25 swag bag with your name on it in the second bedroom. It will contain your t-shirt, your copy of the limited t-shirt edition program, and some other fun stuff.
We made extra programs so we could have a few community programs lying around for folks to read, so if you wish to leave your program with your swag bag you can.
Once again, Fest is held at my house
92 Murdock St #2
Brighton MA 02135
617-783-2769
The Monster of Peidras Blancas goes in at 6 pm SHARP! Dinner will be served at about 7:20 PM.
