Anyone want them? I could always use a few extra bucks. PM for titles and prices.

Do you get takers on these? I am unable to place a value on these codes, but it sounds cheaper than Amazon on demand or something

Considering what Monty is doing is a nono (in the eyes of the MPAA), you buying the codes is no different than torrenting them. Now ask yourself - of those two options, which one is cheaper and more convenient?

More power to you, Monty - but try selling those codes on eBay, and see how fast they throw the book at you.

I usually sell them eventually on Blu-Ray.com, but sometimes it takes a while, and I have to drop the price a couple of times.

I bought the movies the codes were included with...why shouldn't I have the option of selling off things I will never use for myself and get a few bucks of my original purchase price back? I also give away the DVDs from combo packs to members of my family (and at Fest)..."use every part of the buffalo", as the Native Americans say. Some people even sell slip covers, which is a little too obsessive for me (plus, I'd make a net profit of roughly twenty-five cents once a bubble mailer and shipping on my end were factored in). People have been selling these for years on BL.com with no legal troubles, so if I can make some money back, I'm gonna. I've probably made back at least $300 dollars since I started selling them almost three years ago, and that might not seem like much to you, but that's another 30+ movies in my collection.

I don't have a problem with you selling them. It's the MPAA that equates it to theft. Which, I agree, is bullshit. I was questioning Brian's comparison to an MPAA-friendly Amazon purchase.

If it makes you feel better, Chris Knight, I tried buying DM2 from him. When he gave me the codes, it didn't work. Seems he sold the iTunes digital copy on blu-ray.com and that same person used the UV code too (or it was one digital copy tied to either way you redeem).

And this made me picture Monty as a coke dealer, cutting his stash with benzocaine to maximize profits.

So, what I've learned from this thread is to not buy drugs from Monty.
