Fun stuff, but one of you needs to change your appearance, because you look like twins.

Technical tip: don't fade to black - just straight cut. You will lose view counts otherwise.

I shaved today (we're filming some more), so that should help. And I'm wearing a purple shirt this time. And I am not wearing pants.

Chances of me watching just dropped precipitously. But I expect the chances of Ried watching did a sharp uptick, so it may even out.

They don't look alike at all. The only twin Shoe could have would be ANDY FUCKING GARCIA.

HOLY SHIT DOES HE LOOK LIKE ANDY FUCKING GARCIA!

Shoe, has anyone ever told you to grow your hair long, slick it straight back and fuck any woman you like because YOU DEAD RING THE SHIT OUT OF ANDY FUCKING GARCIA?!

(You guys should totally reenact the famous "you stinking Irish shit pig"-scene from The Untouchables.)

PS: I've been hanging up doubleprinted posters for nearly two decades, never knowing for sure why they're printed on both sides. Thanks Tig!

PPS: That's the most distressed Star Wars (?) shirt ever.

Have never, ever gotta Andy Garcia. One or two other goofballs, no one to be proud of, but not Garcia.

Now I feel like I should do a re-enactment video, just for you.

Shoe, Teddy Ruxpin getting possessed is not an urban legend. It is fact.

So look, I'll probably be watching this.

But Shoe, c'mon. You missed a golden opportunity in your LOTR cassette video. Bring out Alf and have him act out 12 hours of Lord of the Rings. Hold that battery compartment the whole time.

Oh man, that would have been both golden and excruciating.

We did some filming yesterday. I mixed up Thundarr the Barbarian and the Herculoids, so some middle aged nerds will surely crucify me for that.

Throw up some annotations or something in the video correcting yourself before someone else corrects you. Or a quick splice in acknowledging your mistake. That should fend off most of your crucifixions.

Many YouTube collaborators are not necessarily in the same room when they make videos like this. You just need a webcam, Skype and/or OBS to make internet gold.

I'm not looking to have a camera pointing out at me, just hang out, talk about random stuff, and drink beer, with Shoe.

I would very much enjoy doing that.

If Shoe Jr. chooses Boston University (it's down to that and NYU), we just may have opportunities to do it, too.

I'm still unsure of the whole putting myself on Youtube thing, but I've really enjoyed these hangout days.

When I first saw the screencap I thought it was a split screen with Shoe in a hat and glasses.

Boston is a much better college town, tons upon tons upon tons of college girls just walking around everywhere. Also BU is more of a 'college atmosphere' with a central campus and community, as NYU is a bunch of different buildings scattered around the city.

The choice is clear.

I can't agree with Ericubus more. Loads of colleges and college aged kids, especially at BU. Plus there's this great song from Boston rock legend Asa Brebner

That's kind of depressing. I'd like to make it happen again. And with a little more free time to just talk, too.

Incidentally, the initial batch of filming still includes sci-fi B movies from the '50s and '60s, and maybe something else I can't remember.

This past weekend we did Speak n' Spell, scratch n' sniff stickers, and childhood cartoons. And some other stuff.

Meet me at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut next month. That's the only East Coast trip I have planned. Work trip. It's super gross.

I just checked some maps.

You know, if Shoe Jr. chooses BU, there is a 7-15% possibility I will actually make this happen!

(Real stats)

May 11 or 12. Weekdays I think.

Seriously though, the casino pretty much sucks. Unless you love casinos, I guess.

Anyways, I'll keep watching your videos. Have fun with them. I've always wanted to have my own series but haven't had enough material to sustain one.

Thank you. Was totally my friend's idea, but I like hanging with him and his Nerd Out With Me is cool, so why not? It's something to do, and he's handling the heavy lifting, so for me it's mostly hangout time and mild embarrassment.

Ok. Shoe.

You make mention of the "Berry good" or whatever sticker.

Then you act excited over the Smurf stickers. One shows a Smurf carrying a berry, with the caption "Berry good"

Editing shenanigans? Or are there two berry pun stickers?

I need to know.

Edit - I am not staying for Norm McDonald.

1. I usually don't enjoy standup comedy.
2. Foxwoods Casino is not my scene.
3. Already have plane tickets booked through work.
4. I am broke.

Or.

I don't want to for reasons.
